Bright Foundry Graphix ("we", "our") operates a small print-on-demand shop (etsy.com/shop/BrightFoundryGraphix). We use a private, self-hosted application that connects to the Pinterest API to publish our own product pins and read our own account's data. This policy explains exactly what that application does.
This is a first-party, single-business tool built and used solely by the shop owner. It is not offered to third parties, clients, or the public, and no other person signs in to it.
Through the Pinterest API, and only after the account owner authorizes it via Pinterest's own OAuth screen, the application may:
It does not access other users' accounts, followers' data, private messages, or any information beyond our own account.
The Pinterest access token is stored locally on the owner's own computer
(.pinterest_token.json) and is used only to make the authorized API calls above. It is
never transmitted to any third party. No customer or end-user personal data is collected or retained.
Data retrieved from Pinterest is used exclusively to schedule and improve our own pin posting. We do not sell, rent, or share any Pinterest data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling of any individual.
The application communicates only with the official Pinterest API. It does not send Pinterest data to any other service.
The account owner can revoke the application's access at any time from Pinterest account settings (Security & permissions → Apps). Doing so immediately stops all API access.
This tool is a business operations tool for the shop owner and is not directed at children.
If the application's behavior changes, this policy will be updated with a new "last updated" date.
Questions about this policy can be directed to the shop via Etsy: etsy.com/shop/BrightFoundryGraphix.
